TEAM BIOGRAPHY

As a time-tested group of players, Hack has been a popular name in the international and Korean competitive scene for years. Their stellar performance at every event they attended helped them qualify for Worlds.

Since finishing VIPL Season 3, Hack has kept their main roster together and built upon the foundation of their team synergy.

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION

Hack has an extensive list of top finishes in multinational tournaments, including second at VIPL Season 3. Their history of competition against international teams could give them a head start against less experienced teams. However, most of their international play happened in Korea and didn’t require them to travel. Will competing in a foreign place add an extra hurdle for them to overcome? We’ll wait and see.

TEAM BIOGRAPHY

Phoenix Armada made a name for itself competing on the “King of the Hill” matches on the Vainglory Dev streams. Having a competitive mindset since the beginning, Phoenix Armada always proves to be a contender in the competitive arena.

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION

Because Phoenix Armada has been competing since the official launch of Vainglory, their international experience is expansive. However, similar to Hack, their participation consists of competing against international teams from their home country of Korea. The main exception to this trend was when Phoenix Armada won at the Samsung Galaxy Vainglory Invitational at E3.
